3 bathrooms and a wrap around garden, perfect for family holidays including four legged ones. It is 200mtrs from Freshwater East beach!
Our holiday let offers parking for two cars, with space for a third with careful manoeuvring. The garden is a peaceful retreat with a sunny deck and two balconies that provide stunning sea views, just 200 meters away.
Inside, each room has electric heaters for instant warmth. We welcome up to two dogs per stay, asking that you clean up after them for the comfort of all guests.
The Lavender Summer House features new decking, windows, doors, and a fresh color scheme. Although semi-detached, its staggered position ensures a quiet atmosphere, with minimal noise from neighbors.
Next door, Jacks at the Longhouse is a quiet pub with occasional outdoor chatter and offers tasty food

The living room is decorated in a soothing shabby chic seaside style with cool, refreshing colours, a white palette, and soft, neutral carpets, creating a relaxing atmosphere. For your entertainment, there's a 43" smart HD TV with a separate DVD player, a selection of films, and access to Sky Freeview channels. You can also stream from platforms like Netflix, Disney Plus, and YouTube – just remember to bring your account details!
The dresser is stocked with placemats, dining china, a variety of books for all ages, and games to keep the little ones entertained. There’s also an oilcloth for drawing or dining.
We offer fast wireless broadband from Sky, with the Wi-Fi password located on the back of the router on the lamp table.

As you step inside, you'll enter the inviting shaker-style kitchen, filled with natural light. The kitchen is well-equipped with essentials, including a standalone electric cooker with a double oven and grill (see 3rd pic), a new fridge-freezer, and a spacious microwave with a convection oven function—ideal for extra cooking space when preparing meals for a larger group.
You'll also find a toaster, kettle, hand blender, and a wide range of pots, pans, mugs, and glasses. The kitchen includes a cupboard with a washing machine and condenser tumble dryer, perfect for keeping up with laundry during your stay (please dry wet beach towels outside before washing).
Off the kitchen is a spacious downstairs shower room, where you'll also find the iron, ironing board, hoover, and mop/broom. This room can also serve as extra storage, ideal for keeping items like extra drink cans cooler and ensuring everything you need is within reach.

The spacious downstairs shower room is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach, with plenty of space to refresh and remove sand and salt (please note, it's not for dogs—we have a Mud Daddy in the shed for them).
The upstairs family bathroom includes a bath with an electric shower and a newly added mixer shower tap, making it ideal for bathing little ones. A vanity unit provides convenient storage for your toiletries.
The main bedroom now features a brand-new en-suite shower room for a private and comfortable experience. Shaver and toothbrush points are discreetly located inside the upstairs bathrooms vanity units.

The master bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed, private balcony, en-suite shower room, wardrobe, bedside tables, a flat-screen TV with a built-in DVD player, and a family rocking chair that can be moved to the balcony.
The twin room includes a built-in wardrobe, Sylvanian figures, Playmobil toys, kids books, a reading chair, and a sea view.
The double room at the back of the house has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside tables.
All beds are new since 2020, with mattress protectors and spare pillows.
For book lovers, a small bookcase outside the main bathroom offers a selection of books—feel free to take one home!

Our garden is a rare gem, originally designed as a feng shui-themed oasis. Though it had been left to nature, we've been restoring it since May 2019 for our guests to enjoy.
The garden wraps around the house, featuring a sun patio perfect for al fresco dining and relaxation.
The garden is secure for dogs, though the fence isn’t consistently 6 feet tall due to our location in the National Park, so supervision is important. Please clean up after your pets daily and check the garden before leaving. The house is on stilts, so keep an eye on dogs to prevent digging.
If you lose a small dog, look under the house! even though we have done all we can to shore up the area, they still can get under there it seems!
The garden shed is lockable with key hanging in kitchen, and can store bikes. It also holds folding chairs, some beach chairs that guests have left, garden tools, and windbreaks for beach outings. A rotary washing line is available, with pegs in the kitchen’s dryer cupboard. No BBQ unless a guest has left one behind so excuse if not clean!
In 2023, we replaced the wooden deck with a round patio and added new fencing. In 2024, we added a rust-resistant table and chairs.

EV Charging
There is no charger at the house and guests are forbidden to use the electric even if you are at the requested 10metres away from the house.
There are chargers in the beach car park though! (bear left when you enter the car park - there are 4 of them - Sadly sometimes they don't connect, until they get a better internet connection) or in Pembroke at Tesco's which are apparently good ones and fast which is a 10-15 min drive away in the dock area.
New fire warnings about lithium batteries catching fire at charging points are now coming out into the press and we cannot risk any fires at our lovely home especially with it being a wooden outside clad. Also our insurance will not cover any damage so you would be wholly liable and we see our electric on an app so can see if spiking.
